About The Position

Valley Health Specialty Hospital is the first orthopedic surgery and inpatient rehabilitation facility in the Las Vegas area, offering specialty orthopedics and inpatient rehabilitation at one location. The RN provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Patient-Centered Care is the foundation for nursing care. The RN provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, oversees and guides employees under their supervision, and demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
Current BLS Certification.
Current PALS Certification for pediatric patients or current NRP Certification for neonatal patients, as required by department.
Other certification as may be required by the facility, specialty, or department.
Successfully pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred.
