About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit, using the nursing process. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources. The RN may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties when appropriately certified.

Requirements

• Hold a current registered nurse (RN) license in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Provide evidence of AHA-approved ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
