About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to a nursing unit. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to plan, coordinate, and provide patient care. Duties include interdisciplinary care planning, discharge planning, teaching patients and families about post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The RN may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as a Charge Nurse; ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses. The role is with PAM Health, a specialty healthcare provider serving communities through locations in multiple states. Requirements
- An RN license in the state where applying.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment; ACLS is required from day one for Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort working with vents, trachs, and PICC lines.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
- ACLS certification initially.
