About The Position

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide and oversee patient care on the nursing unit. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for admitted patients. The role includes coordinating patient care, interdisciplinary and discharge planning, teaching patients and families about post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The RN may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as a Charge Nurse when qualified. The position is at the upcoming Katy rehabilitation hospital in Houston, Texas, and is listed as full-time nights.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
Current BLS certification is required.
AHA-approved BLS and ACLS certifications are required within 90 days of employment.
Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred, but not required.
