RN Outpatient - Same Day Surgery/Endoscopy
About The Position
The Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) uses the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes and planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care. The RN facilitates health care services for patients in outpatient settings in cooperation with the health care team. This role is in a fast-paced Same Day Surgery/Endoscopy procedural environment and offers the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with other professionals. Requirements
- Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
- Be adaptable, communicate effectively, and demonstrate strong time-management and critical-thinking skills.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
