About The Position

The Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) uses the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes and planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to patients. The RN facilitates health care services for patients in outpatient settings in cooperation with the health care team.

This role offers the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with a team of motivated professionals, with ongoing collaboration and learning. Sanford Health seeks detail-oriented, compassionate, and motivated registered nurses who can provide high-quality care to patients and families. Successful nurses are adaptable, communicate effectively, manage their time well, and use critical thinking.

The position is scheduled for 20 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts.

Requirements

• Currently hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
• Be adaptable and demonstrate effective communication, time management, and critical-thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
