About The Position

The RN or LPN Nurse organizes and provides care to residents through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The nurse delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. The role contributes to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets requirements of the Joint Commission, when applicable, and other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN licensure in the appropriate state(s) of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide resident care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delegate aspects of care to nursing personnel according to their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
• Contribute to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia.
• Meet applicable Joint Commission and other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting requirements.
