About The Position

BAYADA’s Nurse Residency Program is an exclusive opportunity for recent nursing graduates who have passed the NCLEX and hold U.S. nursing licensure. It is described as the only paid new graduate residency program in home care accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).

Nurse Residents provide one-on-one nursing care to people of all ages and with a range of diagnoses and acuity levels. The role offers the opportunity to explore areas of interest and practice new skills. BAYADA provides a six-week training program, paid training and shadowing, and flexible scheduling after training. Nurses use electronic charting through Statewise and receive around-the-clock clinical support by phone. Cases are matched near the nurse’s home to support short commute times.

Pay is $29–$31 per hour for day shifts and $30–$32 per hour for evening or overnight shifts. BAYADA is an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider that complies with applicable state and local mandates.

Requirements

• Recent graduation from a qualified nursing program.
• Passed the NCLEX and hold a current, valid U.S. nursing license.
• CPR certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels.
• Use Statewise for electronic charting.
• Participate in the six-week training program and paid shadowing.
