About The Position

Requirements
- Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Indiana.
- Successfully complete the pre-employment process and screening.
- Pass the physical examination given for employment at the facility.
- Maintain a professional manner and appearance.
- Know nursing policies and procedures.
- Know medication administration, possible side effects, treatment administration, and local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices.
- Understand residents' physical, psychological, social, and medical needs.
- Understand the organizational structure and duties of employees under the Unit Manager's supervision.
- Be competent in supervision and leadership.
- Have a caring attitude.
- Be observant.
- Foster and maintain good working relationships with other staff.
- Demonstrate good judgment and emotional stability.
- Be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Responsibilities
