About The Position

Home Heart Florida is hiring compassionate registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to provide pediatric private-duty home care. The role involves delivering one-on-one nursing care to medically fragile children in their homes and supporting their families. The position is located in North Lauderdale, Florida. Required clinical skills include G-tube care and seizure monitoring; tracheostomy experience is preferred. English is required. Listed shifts include Tuesday 12 AM–8 AM, Tuesday 10 PM–8 AM, and Saturday 5 PM–11 PM. An open shift is Wednesday 10 PM–8 AM. The role requires an active Florida RN or LPN license.

Requirements

• Active Florida RN or LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to pass background and license checks.
• Reliability, dependability, and strong family-interaction skills.
• English language proficiency.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric or home-care experience; the employer will train the right nurse.
• Tracheostomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and care plans.
• Support children who may need tracheostomy or ventilator care, G-tube care, suctioning, or seizure monitoring.
• Document accurately and communicate with the care team and family.
