RN/LPN Pediatric Home Care
About The Position
Home Heart Florida is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient in the home. Nurses are thoughtfully matched with families based on clinical experience, personality, location, and schedule. The nurse-led clinical team is available for support, and the company offers a simple onboarding process intended to get qualified nurses ready for their case quickly. Schedules vary by patient needs and may include days, nights, weekends, or overnight care. Registered nurses with at least one year of pediatric and home care experience may ask about providing RN education to a family for an increased rate.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN or LPN license.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with the clinical skills listed for the selected case, when required.
- Dependable, communicative, and comfortable working independently in the home.
- Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care according to the patient's plan of care.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Monitor and document changes in the patient's condition.
- Provide feeding, respiratory, and other case-specific care as applicable.
- Communicate with the family and clinical team.
