RN/LPN Pediatric Home Care (Saturday Night Nurse)
About The Position
Home Heart Florida is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient in the patient’s home in Pensacola, Florida. The case requires tracheostomy (trach) and ventilator (vent) skills, English, and an active Florida RN or LPN license. The listed shift is Saturday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Nurses are thoughtfully matched with families based on clinical experience, personality, location, and schedule. The company describes its care as one-on-one, with support available from a nurse-led clinical team and an onboarding process intended to prepare qualified nurses for their case quickly. Available shifts depend on the patient’s needs and may include days, nights, weekends, or overnight care. An RN with one year of pediatric experience and home care experience may ask about providing RN education to a nearby family for an increased rate.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN or LPN license.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with the clinical skills listed for the case, when required; this case lists trach and vent.
- Dependable, communicative, and comfortable working independently in the home.
- Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care according to the patient's plan of care.
