About The Position

BAYADA’s Sellersville Pediatrics Office is seeking a Registered Nurse with a passion for pediatric and adult care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The nurse will provide one-to-one home care to a 22-year-old client in Sellersville with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. The client’s care includes NPPV, frequent airway clearance, IPV, cough assist, seizure care, VNS, GT, and vesicostomy services. Nurses are sought for day, evening, and overnight shifts. Private duty nursing involves traditional shifts, hands-on care for one client, and the opportunity to build a relationship with the client and observe milestones. Nurses travel to one nearby client on a schedule they choose and are empowered to perform skills autonomously in the home.

BAYADA provides onboarding and training from the first day, with Clinical Managers and office staff available for support and regular check-ins. Nurses follow and document doctors’ orders, perform assessments, monitor client conditions, and record observations, interventions, and evaluations.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one nearby client according to a chosen schedule.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide hands-on, one-to-one home care and perform nursing skills autonomously in the home.
