About The Position

Our Toronto office is seeking undergraduate students to join the team as a Co-op or Summer Intern in Summer 2027 or Fall 2027 as part of our Risk Services, Technology Risk Services practice. This role is open to both those who are pursuing a CPA and those who are not. CPA PER requirements can be met through Technology Risk Services projects and engagements. The Technology Risk Services Team helps organizations achieve and sustain operational efficiency and effectiveness by bringing technology risk awareness to the boardroom and ensuring technology selection supports strategy and operations safely, securely, and consistently. The Intern and Co-op program aims to develop the next generation of leaders through challenging and interesting work. During your term, you will gain authentic engagement experience working with client projects across our teams. You will broaden your skill set through KPMG’s vast learning and development opportunities. The national Power Up programming will provide opportunities to learn from leaders, build a network with other student hires through social events, collaborate with professionals from across KPMG, and learn how KPMG supports career journeys. You will also benefit from KPMG’s learning and development offerings, including technical training, professional skills development, and mentorship opportunities.

Requirements

  • University student with a major in Accounting, Finance, Business, Math, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve personal and professional success while juggling competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Highly motivated student who strives for excellence, innovation and collaboration.
  • Strong academic record and demonstrate intellectual curiosity through coursework, projects, or extracurricular involvement.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships, establish strong relationships internally and externally, and contribute positively to team-based environments.
  • Respect diverse perspectives and work effectively across functions.
