About The Position

The Risk Management Coordinator supports the daily operations of Manatee Memorial Hospital’s risk management program through use of T.E.R.M. and by assisting with incident reporting, adverse event investigations, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Under the direction of the Risk Manager or Director, the coordinator collects and analyzes data, maintains documentation systems, and facilitates timely follow-up on safety events. The role supports a culture of safety, helps minimize risk exposure, and contributes to compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. The coordinator is expected to demonstrate Service Excellence at all times and perform other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. The hospital is a 295-bed facility serving Manatee, Sarasota, and surrounding counties, and is part of the Manatee Healthcare System.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
State of Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a background in a risk management-related field.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred.
Previous Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
Minimum of one year of Risk Management experience preferred.
