The Risk Management Coordinator plays a crucial role in evaluating vendor due diligence documentation, identifying material risks and control deficiencies, and assessing overall risk exposure. This position develops recommendations for risk mitigation and escalation, performs various risk assessments, and conducts ongoing monitoring activities. The coordinator is responsible for managing vendor documentation within the risk management database, analyzing trends in vendor performance and risk indicators, and preparing reports and dashboards. They also coordinate vendor onboarding, review contractual provisions for risk, and analyze insurance claims. Collaboration with internal departments like Information Security, IT, Compliance, and Finance is essential to support risk management initiatives and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations. The role also involves assisting with enterprise risk management activities, researching regulatory guidance, facilitating audits, and developing/maintaining risk management procedures and training materials. Participation in system testing and validation, identifying systemic issues, and supporting risk management training are also key functions. The position requires the ability to work extended hours when necessary and lift up to 15 lbs.
