Wood has an exciting opportunity for a Reward Manager to join our Reward & Mobility team to manage the delivery of projects, frameworks, programs, standards and improvements, across the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa & Caspian, and UK & Europe regions to support our long-term strategic delivery. Reporting to the Vice President of Total Reward the position will influence and contribute to the formation of strategy, policy design and organisation wide frameworks ensuring alignment with regional priorities and total reward approach. This position can be either hybrid from any of our UK offices, or remote. The Reward Manager’s objective is to ensure the reward practices attract, retain, and motivate employees at Wood while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements. You will ensure effective business partnering as well as developing knowledge and understanding among leaders, HR teams and employees where you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to guide decision-making. You will proactively contribute to the global reward strategy to align with business requirements, legislation, and market trends. The goal is to ensure the strategy is both internally fair and externally competitive. You should understand external market practices, emerging trends, and legislative changes. The role is responsible for leading and delivering reward strategies across UK & Europe, Middle East, Africa & Caspian, and Asia-Pacific regions (EMEA and APAC). Partnering closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders, the role ensures compensation and benefits programs are market-competitive, compliant with local regulations, and aligned with the company’s global reward framework. This position plays a critical part in regional reward governance and operations, including pay transparency readiness, pay equity compliance, and data-driven decision-making. It supports the ongoing evolution of compensation programs and leads annual benefits renewals, as well as other cyclical programs such as the annual salary review process. This role also manages key vendor relationships, monitors program outcomes, and recommends improvements as needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing potential risks in the organisation’s reward practices and guiding the development of reward initiatives that align with business needs, leveraging the employee value proposition and reward levers to meet strategic objectives. Ensuring that employee engagement is prioritised through transparent communication and collaboration with various stakeholders across HR, finance, and leadership teams and emphasise fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and change.
