About The Position

Quvia is seeking a Sales Director, APAC responsible for the sales and account management of solutions and services within the Aviation vertical. As an individual contributor within the Aviation commercial team, you will be entrusted with developing some of our global accounts. In addition, this position will focus on targeting and successfully acquiring significant new customers as we look to accelerate our growth. You will work closely with all pre-sales, back office, and technical functions to ensure contracts deliver product alignment, technical feasibility, and strategic business benefits. We need a dedicated, organized, and efficient professional who thrives on being integral to a fast-paced startup environment. You will also need to excel at dealing with the complexities associated with large enterprise customers.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business Management, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
  • Typically, not less than 5 years experience with 3+ years in telecom/technology/managed services sales (solution sales approach) and selling to the Aviation industries.
  • A proven track record of consistently maintaining a robust sales pipeline that contributed to exceeding revenue forecasts.
  • Must have business savvy, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and ability to close deals engagement to closure.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet software and sales-related software.
  • Ability to solve practical problems.
  • Strong business acumen and work independently and think strategically.
  • Hands-on attitude to solve problems and capture opportunities.
  • Positive mindset, result-oriented, high level of initiative and integrity.
  • A team player and adaptable.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience of IFE and/or IFC is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales opportunities, deliver presentations, negotiate, and close sales deals.
  • Work with technical solutions experts to create innovative and compelling proposals.
  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop opportunities in existing and new accounts to identify profitable revenue streams.
  • Consistently maintain a robust sales pipeline that supports and exceeds revenue forecasts, generating new ideas for service and product opportunities.
  • Establish, develop, strengthen, and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels to achieve the company's overall objectives.
  • Proactively engage various teams to ensure appropriate levels of direct customer support.
  • Participate in developing strategic customer planning sessions and reviews to ensure organizational alignment with customer needs and desires.
  • Maintain a healthy funnel and report via Hubspot.
  • Travel to customer locations for sales and customer meetings, attending conferences and tradeshows to network with relevant stakeholders and gain industry insight.
  • Travel to Miramar, FL (HQ) for training and team meetings as required.
  • Analyze and control expenses to conform to accounting requirements and budgetary constraints.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to ensure customer billing accuracies and support AR escalations.
  • Prepare periodic reports on sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
