About The Position

Verse Medical is seeking a RevOps Analyst / GTM Engineer to build out the revenue operations function. This role is critical for analyzing pipeline, forecasting revenue, and building the systems to support these processes. The company is a well-funded Series C healthcare technology company focused on connecting providers, payors, and patients with modern software infrastructure. The role requires a hands-on individual contributor who can identify and fix broken revenue processes end-to-end, combining analytical skills with system administration and development. The company sells to health systems, discharge planners, case managers, and post-acute partners, which presents unique challenges in territory design, routing, and pipeline analysis due to the complex structure of health systems as multiple locations and referral sources rather than single accounts. This role is ideal for someone who wants to own problems from inception to resolution, rather than focusing solely on SQL or Salesforce administration.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in revenue operations, sales operations, GTM operations, business operations, or analytics supporting a sales team.
  • Experience in a growth-stage company where you built rather than maintained processes.
  • Strong understanding of GTM metrics, pipeline mechanics, forecast support, CRM hygiene, and sales process discipline.
  • Experience owning a system end-to-end, being accountable for a CRM, reporting layer, or GTM data pipeline.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and operating without a predefined playbook.
  • Strong SQL skills, including window functions and multi-CTE queries, with the ability to sanity-check results.
  • Deep Salesforce experience, including object model, flows, validation rules, reports and dashboards, permissions, with hands-on administration.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM tooling in production, including prompting, function calling or MCP, retrieval, and output validation.
  • Experience with a BI tool and a data warehouse, with opinions on data storage strategies.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a focus on practical application for better decisions and cleaner execution.
  • Clear communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort pushing back respectfully on data and numbers, even when presented by leadership.
  • Track record of partnering across sales, marketing, finance, and product to drive decisions with data.
  • Bias for automation and AI-enabled workflows that improve efficiency and accuracy, with the judgment to identify incorrect output.
  • Comfortable operating with urgency and ambiguity.
  • Low ego, high ownership mentality.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare, DME, home health, or post-acute experience.
  • Background modeling a business where the payor, the referrer, and the patient are distinct parties.
  • Familiarity with HCPCS, payer mix, or authorization workflows and their impact on GTM data.
  • Experience building and maintaining an agent or automation that a team depended on, including troubleshooting.
  • dbt experience.
  • Gong's API experience.
  • Prior work wiring a GTM stack together with code rather than Zapier.

Responsibilities

  • Run pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and weekly revenue reporting with accurate data, clear summaries, and tracked follow-up.
  • Monitor stage progression, conversion rates, sales cycle length, deal slippage, stale opportunities, close-date hygiene, and loss reasons, and interpret their meaning.
  • Partner with sales leadership and AEs to improve pipeline inspection, deal movement, and accountability without adding unnecessary admin work.
  • Own target account, territory, ownership, and routing logic as the team scales, considering the complexity of health systems as multiple locations and referral sources.
  • Model quotas, capacity, and comp plans, and produce accurate calculations for compensation.
  • Own Salesforce as a system, including object model, fields, validation rules, flows, and permissions, ensuring it reflects the sales process.
  • Manage day-to-day CRM hygiene, including required fields, lifecycle and stage accuracy, source attribution, account and contact quality, and data completeness.
  • Design, test, and roll out workflows to improve data quality and reduce manual cleanup.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for funnel conversion, rep activity, meetings, pipeline, forecast, and source performance.
  • Own the GTM stack end-to-end, including the integration between Salesforce, Gong, the data warehouse, and outbound tooling, writing scripts and API integrations.
  • Build internal AI tooling to provide reps and leaders with answers without requiring them to open reports, such as account briefs, deal-risk alerts, automated CRM updates, and Slack-native lookups.
  • Use AI to compress unglamorous work like data cleanup, enrichment QA, dedupe logic, first-pass analysis, and documentation, building evaluation metrics alongside it.
  • Choose between buying a tool, writing a script, or prompting a model, and be capable of implementing the latter two.
  • Document core GTM processes and handoffs across marketing, SDR, sales, finance, and enablement.
  • Act as the operational partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, Enablement, and Clinical Operations, translating team questions into actionable data and ensuring consistent metric definitions.
  • Support Finance on quota, capacity, commission exports, and board reporting; Marketing on attribution and source performance; Enablement with data for training needs.
  • Support analytics across the full customer lifecycle, including marketing attribution, pipeline generation, conversion, and customer health and retention.
  • Translate sales data into actionable insights regarding conversion drops, source progression, deal stalling, and follow-up needs.
  • Support QBRs, pipeline reviews, board and leadership reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Build lightweight operating assets such as pipeline review templates, deal inspection views, forecast notes, lead-to-qualified reports, rep follow-up trackers, and performance scorecards.
  • Serve as the source of truth for data, resolving discrepancies between teams and explaining the reasoning.
