About The Position

The Revenue Management Analyst drives decisions and executes pricing strategies to maximize profitability for assigned rental locations. The analyst develops and implements pricing processes and strategies, monitors results consistently, and supports revenue growth. The role is intended to prepare the analyst for advancement within and outside the Revenue Management department. It requires working full-time in-office at Avis Budget Group’s World Headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Business Analytics, Math, Statistics, or a related field.
• Entry-level to 2 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with resourcefulness and creative solutions.
• Ability to prioritize workload, self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work full-time in-office at World Headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship or work experience in a related field.
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Apply pricing strategies and rates correctly in the robotic optimization system, ensuring competitiveness based on market pricing, fleet levels, and data analytics.
• Examine markets, geographic regions, competitor pricing, and business trends related to pricing at various levels of detail.
• Use data analytics tools to inform business decisions.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders at multiple management levels through calls, email, and in-person or Zoom meetings to align current strategy with company goals and trends.
• Produce and distribute monthly location performance and benchmark reports, and prepare ad hoc requests and analyses using Tableau, Cognos, or Excel.
• Forecast rental demand and booking trends for assigned locations.
• Identify and test targeted promotions aligned with pricing strategies.
