About The Position

Excelsia Injury Care is hiring a Revenue Cycle Specialist focused on payment posting. The role enters payments and adjustments into the system, obtains settlement information as needed, reconciles payment batches with deposits and EOBs, processes credit card payments, and maintains a daily log of incoming checks for deposit. The position also includes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of insurance plans, workers’ compensation, and personal injury.
• At least one year of experience in third-party billing or accounts receivable, or a medical billing/coding certification.
• Computer knowledge and accurate keyboard skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Confidence working independently.
• Typing speed of 50+ WPM.
• Working knowledge of insurance guidelines and billing and collection procedures.
• Ability to interact effectively with doctors, attorneys, patients, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Enter payments and adjustments into the system accurately.
• Obtain settlement information as needed.
• Reconcile payment batches with the deposited amount and EOB.
• Process credit card payments.
• Maintain a daily log of incoming checks for deposit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
