About The Position

The Returns Processor opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans items, and places freight in the proper locations. The role involves loading, unloading, moving, stocking, and staging products; verifying items in their original packaging; processing freight accurately using a scanning system; identifying items that require special handling; and ensuring scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination. The position also requires safely stacking and taping pallets and following safety and sanitation standards.

Available schedules include first shift, second shift, or seasonal work. First shift hours are 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Second shift hours are 3:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with a $0.50 shift premium. Associates must be able to train on first shift and attend three days of orientation in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Pay is $17.95 per hour, with the stated second-shift premium.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Material handling equipment certification.
• Six months of warehouse experience.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product; use powered equipment if required.
• Verify the proper item is in its original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Accurately process freight using the scanning system.
• Identify items requiring special processing or separation, such as hazardous material, store services, research, or salvage.
• Ensure scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination, such as a slot, destroy, or salvage location.
• Stack and tape pallets safely.
• Observe safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
