About The Position

The Returns Processor opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans it, and places freight in the proper locations. The role involves handling and staging products, preparing items for scanning, accurately processing freight, identifying items requiring special handling, and ensuring scanned freight reaches its intended destination. The position also requires stacking and taping pallets safely and following safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Material handling equipment certification, preferred.
• Six months of warehouse experience, preferred.
• Six months of forklift operation experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product; powered equipment may be required.
• Verify that the proper item is in its original packaging before scanning.
• Accurately process freight using the scanning system.
• Identify items requiring special processing or separation, such as hazardous materials, store services, research, or salvage.
• Ensure scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination, such as a slot, destruction, or salvage.
• Stack and tape pallets safely.
• Observe safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
