About The Position

The Returns Processor opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations. The role involves processing returned freight accurately, identifying items that need special handling, and ensuring freight reaches the appropriate destination while following safety and sanitation standards. The position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with pay of $17.95 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Material handling equipment certification.
• Six months of warehouse experience.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product; powered equipment may be required.
• Verify the proper item is in its original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Accurately process freight using the scanning system.
• Identify items requiring special processing or separation, such as hazardous material, store services, research, or salvage.
• Ensure scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination, such as a slot, destroy, or salvage location.
• Stack and tape pallets safely.
• Observe safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
