About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Returns Processor to open and verify returned merchandise, scan items, and place freight in appropriate locations. The position involves handling and staging products, accurately processing freight through a scanning system, identifying items requiring special processing, and ensuring scanned freight reaches its proper destination. The role may require use of powered equipment and includes following safety and sanitation standards.

Available schedules include 1st shift, 2nd shift, or seasonal work. First shift is 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Second shift is 3:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with a $0.50 shift premium. Associates must be able to train on first shift and attend three days of orientation in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Pay is $17.95 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to train on first shift and attend three days of orientation in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Material handling equipment certification.
• Six months of warehouse experience.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product; powered equipment may be required.
• Verify that the proper item is in its original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Accurately process freight using the scanning system.
• Identify items requiring special processing or separation, such as hazardous materials, store services, research, or salvage.
• Ensure scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination, such as a slot, destroy, or salvage area.
• Stack and tape pallets safely.
• Observe safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
