Warehouse - Returns Department Team Lead
About The Position
The Returns Team Lead is expected to lead the team from the front, as an equal contributor to the overall production of the department. They are expected to lead in the absence of the Supervisor, and provide education and guidance to their team members in reference to the overall department procedures. This position is an ally to their team and is expected to convey pertinent information up to the Supervisor and Managers about daily productions, potential concerns, and positive outcomes that derive from their department. The key to success in this role is transparency and clear communication, without these there will be conflict and chaos in the department and within leadership itself.
Requirements
- Lead the team from the front - participating in daily work
- Provide education and guidance to team members on department procedures
- Convey pertinent information to Supervisor and Managers about daily productions, potential concerns, and positive outcomes
- Inventory Adjustments with specific memos
- Supply upkeep
- Upkeep on SOPs/Best practices
- Receiving/inspections
- Assist with cases if needed
- Assist with Return to Vendor items
- Cleaning area
- Asana tasks
- Daily personnel assignments
