About The Position

As part of New Balance’s retail leadership team, the part-time Retail Team Lead helps open and close the store, drive results, and deliver a world-class guest experience. The role leads by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies and provides a positive leadership presence on the sales floor. The position is based in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
• Demonstrate leadership ability.
• Have strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the retail business, which may include weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift 4 lbs. frequently and a maximum of 8 lbs. occasionally.
• Be able to kneel or squat frequently, move product boxes up to 50 lbs. with assistance if necessary, stand for extended periods, climb ladders occasionally, and climb and descend stairs frequently depending on location.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of retail supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and communicate and coach professionally with associates.
• Help achieve store key performance indicators through associate training and development.
• Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model.
• Open and close the store.
• Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures.
