About The Position

The Shoe Expeditor processes new merchandise and recovers the shoe sales area while maintaining high customer service and presentation standards. The role includes supporting shoe inventory, merchandise displays and orders, and keeping the sales area clean, organized, and ready for customers. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

No education or experience is required.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, distinguish colors, and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to handle heavy and/or bulky items and sharp items such as box cutters and scissors.

Responsibilities

Recover the shoe sales floor and scan inventory back into stock.
Maintain shoe inventory accuracy through accurate scanning and placement.
Receive and process new merchandise.
Assist with moving tables and fixtures on the shoe sales floor for new merchandise, seasonal changes, clearance sets, and special events.
Set up shoe displays for new merchandise, seasonal changes, clearance sets, and special events.
Pull orders from stock and stage them for selling colleagues.
Fulfill shoe orders.
Process damages, vendor returns, and shoe jobbers.
Replenish displays and other products as needed.
Assist with markdowns and seasonal inventory.
Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the shoe sales area.
Respond to customer service needs in a friendly and helpful manner.
Maintain a clean, neat, easy-to-shop store environment.
Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
