About The Position

The Retail Supervisor supports in-venue retail operations at the Florida Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs, enhancing the guest experience and generating sales. The role assists with staff supervision and training, merchandise presentation and inventory-related activities, administrative and budget processes, and customer service. It also includes hands-on assistance with hockey and figure skating equipment fittings, skate sharpening, and equipment repairs. This is an hourly, full-time position reporting to the Retail Manager. Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, are required.

Requirements

Supervisory experience.
Retail experience.
Familiarity with hockey and figure skating equipment fittings, repairs, and sharpening.
Strong organization and ability to multitask.
Self-starter with enthusiasm, creative vision, and ability to lead in a high-stress environment.
Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Familiarity with operating a point-of-sale system.
Ability to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist with overall in-venue retail operations at the IceDen.
Drive sales and retail initiatives.
Use reports to assist with loss prevention and reorder merchandise based on sales.
Maintain the pro shop's merchandise presentation.
Train staff on business operations, skate and equipment fittings, skate sharpening, and repairs.
Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and managing staff.
Coordinate and manage invoices, billing, purchasing, and tracking departmental budgets.
Oversee and manage scheduling and payroll.
Supervise retail sales associates.
Process sales through the point-of-sale system.
Maintain cash drawer accuracy.
Greet and assist guests, including helping them make purchasing decisions.
Fit guests for hockey and figure skating equipment and help them find correct sizes.
Sharpen skates and repair equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of all retail areas.
Complete additional projects, tasks, and events as assigned.
