About The Position

Metz Culinary Management is seeking a Retail Supervisor for a busy retail location at Thaddeus Stevens College Dining. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and possess a passion for food and service. This role oversees operations and employee management in retail food outlets, including a Café, Food Court with concept brand outlets, and Grab and Go options. A strong focus on customer relations, hospitality, and exceptional service is essential. The position requires the ability to read, write, use simple math, and follow/give instructions. Experience in contract dining food service settings such as hospitals, schools, colleges, senior living, or corporate dining is desired. The Retail Supervisor is responsible for maintaining food quality, customer service, and cash handling in a retail food operation with both front and back-of-house duties. This role may also assume the General Manager's responsibilities in their absence and assists with cash control, payroll records, financial/HR functions, customer satisfaction, and public relations. Related experience in retail food service management is required.
