About The Position

Work World is hiring a part-time Retail Supervisor in Redding, California. The supervisor helps lead store operations and supports customers while contributing to the company’s growth. The role includes customer service, sales-floor workflow, opening and closing the store, register transactions, and maintaining store organization and inventory. Work World operates specialty retail stores selling workwear, work boots, scrubs, and safety gear. The company describes its stores as lean, close-knit teams where each employee can directly affect business success. Compensation is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers.
Assist customers with requests in store and over the phone.
Open and close the store.
Direct workflow on the sales floor.
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner.
Maintain store organization and cleanliness.
Complete customer transactions at the cash register, including taking payments and issuing receipts.
Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
