Retail Store Manager- Flat Shoals
About The Position
The Store Manager leads a retail operation and a team of 25–40 team members to deliver sales results and an excellent guest experience. The manager is accountable for the store’s team, financial performance, operations, and overall guest experience, and represents the store in the community while building a positive, high-engagement culture. The role includes hiring, training, and developing hourly team members and leading Assistant Store Managers and Shift Supervisors to build a strong talent bench. Additional duties include greeting and assisting donors and customers, maintaining the store’s overall appearance, leading monthly employee meetings, attending monthly meetings with the Director and other store managers, and maintaining company records and reporting.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience supervising teams of 25–40 employees.
- Strong familiarity with developing budgets and creating plans to exceed financial expectations.
- Focus on maintaining and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Demonstrated capacity to embrace change.
- Demonstrated decision-making abilities.
- Experience hiring and developing staff.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or a related subject.
- Bilingual language skills.
- Prior military or related nonprofit experience.
