About The Position

Retail Store Associates work in a customer-focused retail setting, independently and as part of a team, to support customers and CVS Health’s healthcare services. The role involves providing helpful, compassionate service, operating the register, maintaining store inventory and sales-floor presentation, supporting store opening and closing activities, and assisting across departments, including the pharmacy when needed. Associates also promote CVS services and loyalty programs. This is a part-time position with 25 anticipated weekly hours and fixed schedule availability requirements, including every weekend. The listed hourly pay range is $15.00–$22.00. The application window is anticipated to close on 11/24/2026.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Meet the required fixed schedule availability: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• Work every weekend.
• Remain upright for sustained periods.
• Occasionally exert up to 35 pounds of force, frequently up to 10 pounds, and regularly exert a negligible amount of force to move objects, including overhead lifting.
• Have close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visually inspecting small parts or details.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate customer needs, provide compassionate and differentiated service, and identify and resolve potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer help locating items when needed.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing information, and complete inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, and help keep departments stocked and operational while staying current with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as an opportunity for growth and career development.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs that support customers on their path to better health.
