About The Position

Rowan is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Studio Sales Associate for its Station Park studio. This hourly, non-exempt role creates an exceptional piercing and shopping experience through engaging customer interactions, product knowledge, and support for the studio team. The associate helps customers with ear piercings and jewelry selections, promotes Rowan products and services, and maintains cleanliness, safety, inventory, and visual displays to Rowan’s standards. The position reports to a Studio Manager and requires weekend availability, as well as the ability to work nights and holidays.

Requirements

Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Strong communication skills.
Strong basic math skills.
Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Able to perform tasks that may include climbing ladders, bending, lifting, pushing, and reaching above and below the waist.
Able to stand for a full 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers and help create a celebratory environment.
Check customers in and assist them with booking appointments using POS, technology, and software systems.
Help customers choose and style piercings and hypoallergenic non-piercing jewelry.
Answer customer questions about piercing procedures, aftercare, and products in person and by phone.
Promote and upsell Rowan products, including non-piercing jewelry and aftercare kits.
Maintain current knowledge of product materials, styles, and care instructions.
Meet or exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics by communicating the value of Rowan’s services and products and converting piercing customers into non-piercing jewelry customers.
Keep the studio clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Follow health and safety regulations, particularly those related to piercing procedures and hygiene.
Assist managers with receiving, restocking, pricing, displaying, cleaning, and maintaining inventory and visual displays.
Work with Studio Managers, Assistant Managers, and Studio Nurse Piercers to provide seamless customer service.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions and support studio-wide goals and a positive work environment.
Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges.
Conduct stock checks and replenish displays as needed.
Maintain accurate customer records, including consent and waiver forms and aftercare instructions.
