About The Position

GEN Aspire, LLC dba Batteries Plus is hiring a full-time Retail Store Associate to work scheduled shifts at its Chesapeake and Suffolk, Virginia locations. The associate helps customers with batteries, lighting, accessories, device repair, automotive key programming, and related services. Paid training is provided, including training in smartphone and tablet repair. The role also involves inventory handling, store upkeep, deliveries, and opening and closing support. Associates are scheduled between the two stores according to business needs and staffing requirements.

Requirements

• Friendly, dependable, customer-first attitude.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to lift and carry more than 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability and willingness to work scheduled shifts at both the Chesapeake and Suffolk stores.

• Retail, sales, customer service, technical, or device repair experience; experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and product recommendations.
• Help customers find appropriate batteries, lighting, and accessories.
• Perform battery testing, installation, and light technical services.
• Repair smartphones and tablets after receiving paid training.
• Program automotive key fobs.
• Receive, stock, rotate, and count inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, customer-ready store.
• Support opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with deliveries and loading and unloading merchandise.
• Work scheduled shifts at both the Chesapeake and Suffolk stores.
