About The Position

Rowan is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Studio Sales Associate for its Fashion Mall at Keystone studio. The associate creates an exceptional piercing and shopping experience by helping customers with piercings, recommending products, and maintaining the studio’s cleanliness and safety standards. The role brings Rowan’s brand, product knowledge, and ear-stacking experience to life through engaging customer interactions. This is an hourly, non-exempt position that reports to a Studio Manager. The associate welcomes customers, assists with appointments and transactions, helps customers choose piercing and hypoallergenic non-piercing jewelry, and answers questions about procedures, aftercare, and products. They promote Rowan products, maintain product knowledge, and work toward sales targets. They also help maintain the studio, follow hygiene and safety requirements, support inventory and displays, keep customer records, and collaborate with studio colleagues. Weekend availability is required; the posting also states that the associate must be able to work nights and holidays.

Requirements

Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Strong communication skills.

Able to perform tasks that may include climbing ladders, bending, lifting, pushing, and reaching above and below the waist.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet and welcome customers, helping create a celebratory environment.
Check customers in or help them book appointments using POS, technology, and software systems.
Help customers choose and style their piercing and hypoallergenic non-piercing jewelry.
Answer customer questions about piercing procedures, aftercare, and products, both in person and by phone.
Promote and upsell Rowan products, including non-piercing jewelry and aftercare kits.
Maintain current knowledge of products, materials, styles, and care instructions.
Meet or exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics, including converting piercing customers into non-piercing jewelry customers.
Keep the studio clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Follow health and safety regulations, particularly those related to piercing and hygiene.
Assist managers with receiving, restocking, pricing, displaying, cleaning, and maintaining inventory and visual displays.
Collaborate with Studio Managers, Assistant Managers, and Studio Nurse Piercers to provide seamless customer service.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Support studio-wide goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges.
Conduct stock checks and replenish displays as needed.
Maintain accurate customer records, including consent and waiver forms and aftercare instructions.
