About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring team members for Sales, Cashier, Stock, and/or Fulfillment departments at its Jacksonville Rack location. Team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment to make the customer experience quick, easy, and enjoyable while helping customers find deals. Applicants can discuss their preferred role during the interview process. Sales and Cashier duties include supporting fitting-room experiences, promoting initiatives such as Nordstrom Rewards, keeping stockrooms organized, completing inventory processes, maintaining the sales floor, assisting with transactions, using store technologies, and resolving customer concerns. Stock Support and Fulfillment duties include receiving and processing freight, delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders to quality standards, using inventory management systems, maintaining clean and organized floors and stockrooms, and providing general store support. The role requires flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs. The hourly pay range is $15.70–$16.30, depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses.

Requirements

For Stock Support or Fulfillment roles, ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

For Sales and Cashier roles, greet customers and take them to fitting rooms, then sort and return clothing to the sales floor.
Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
Work with the team to keep the sales floor runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Defuse customer situations and provide timely, effective resolutions.
For Stock Support and Fulfillment roles, receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver newly arrived items to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly and in accordance with quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
