About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring team members for Sales, Cashier, Stock, and/or Fulfillment roles at its Jacksonville location. Team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment to make the customer experience quick, easy, and enjoyable while helping customers find deals. Applicants can discuss their preferred role during the interview process. Depending on the role, work includes assisting customers with fitting rooms and transactions, maintaining and organizing merchandise and selling areas, processing inventory, receiving and shipping customer orders, and supporting store operations. The position requires effective communication, initiative, accountability, organization, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and schedule flexibility based on business needs. Stock Support or Fulfillment roles require frequently lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The hourly pay range is $15.70–$16.30. The posting notes that pay offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and the position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Responsibilities

For Sales and Cashier roles, greet customers, guide them to fitting rooms, and sort and return clothing to the sales floor.
Encourage customers and coworkers to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, including checking in and accurately ticketing merchandise.
Maintain a runway-ready sales floor through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with a variety of transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Demonstrate expertise with technologies used in the store environment.
Resolve customer situations in a timely and effective manner.
For Stock Support and Fulfillment roles, receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver new arrivals to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly while following quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Help keep selling floors and stockrooms clean and organized.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
