Retail Shift Leader
About The Position
EZCORP is hiring a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) for Value Pawn & Jewelry in Miami, Florida. The role provides customer service, builds customer relationships, promotes sales, negotiates deals for pawn items, and leads Team Members through coaching and hands-on involvement. The position includes a five-week paid training program; upon completion, the employee earns a $0.50 raise and transitions to Lead Pawnbroker. Employees can also follow a career path toward Assistant Manager, including a six-month training program. The pay range is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience, with potential for monthly uncapped bonuses based on store and individual performance. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager experience.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Engaging personality, solid leadership, strong negotiation skills, and ability to understand and manage customer needs.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with sound judgment and strong time-management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build ongoing customer relationships.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics.
- Sales background.
- Bilingual.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and build solid customer relationships.
- Promote sales and negotiate deals for a wide variety of pawn items.
- Process loans and extensions.
- Reach jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned.
- Perform store opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise and coach store Team Members.
- Adhere to Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
