About The Position

The Retail Security Officer maintains a safe environment by monitoring activity, assisting visitors, and responding to incidents. The role includes controlling entrances and traffic, patrolling buildings and surrounding areas, escorting personnel and materials, inspecting security and fire exposures, completing daily activity and incident reports, responding to alarms and emergencies, and communicating daily with supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–6 months of security or life-safety experience.
• State Guard license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Vigilance, discipline, and observational skills.
• Clear and professional communication.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations.
• Reliability and a customer-service orientation.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities
