About The Position

Security Officers maintain a safe environment by monitoring activity, assisting visitors, and responding to incidents. This role involves controlling entrances and managing traffic; patrolling buildings and surrounding areas; escorting personnel and materials; inspecting security and fire exposures; completing daily activity and incident reports; responding to alarms and emergencies; and communicating daily with supervisors. Candidates should be alert, reliable, customer-focused, and able to perform physical tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–6 months of security or life-safety experience.
• State Guard license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Vigilance, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Clear and professional communication.
• Ability to stay calm and focused in stressful situations.
• Reliability and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities.
