About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable app on a mobile phone and provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

The role involves weekly display scanning throughout the entire store, which can take several hours, as well as custom projects requested by clients. Custom projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work independently while maintaining dependable, detail-oriented performance.

This is a permanent part-time position averaging 6–10 hours per week across assigned stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. The role operates year-round, including holiday weeks, and requires continuous physical activity during work shifts. Available route stores are in Westwego, Harvey, Harahan, and Kenner, Louisiana, with workdays varying by store.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
