About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit designated local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to collect data, including quantities for about 45% of scanned products. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates perform in-store data collection at assigned retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Weekly work includes scanning displays throughout the store, which may take several hours, and completing Custom Projects when requested. These projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store. Associates must meet store deadlines and provide dependable, accurate work while working independently with some flexibility in scheduling.

This is a permanent part-time position averaging 6–8 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional project hours are frequently assigned, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. The listed route includes grocery, drug, and convenience stores in Baton Rouge, Walker, and Denham Springs, Louisiana.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
