About The Position

The Sales Associate supports Builder Sales Representatives with the marketing and sales functions for the community and completes tasks assigned by the representative on their days off. The role involves daily customer interaction and general office duties at model homes, with travel between communities and to the company office as needed. The position is full time, with a salary based on experience. Office hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; weekend work is required.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and valid motor vehicle liability insurance.
Residency in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas.
Ability to interact with the public daily in person and through email, text, or phone calls.

Responsibilities

Perform general office duties and use computer skills to support the sales office.
Work as a team and complete assigned work responsibly.
Assist with potential buyers by handling registration sheets, setting appointments, showing homes, and maintaining signage.
Assist current buyers by setting Color/Option appointments, sending construction pictures, scheduling first walks, preparing homes before final walks, and keeping specifications clean.
Maintain model homes and specifications, stock office supplies and sales documents and packets, and help keep homes clean.
Maintain a monthly budget for model home supplies and events.
Travel to model homes for daily activities, between communities for showings, and to the company office for meetings.
