About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. They use a downloadable mobile app to scan products and provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve sales performance for products and retailers.

Associates complete display scanning throughout each assigned store every week, which can take several hours. Clients also frequently request custom projects that gather more specific product details in main stocking locations; these occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work dependably and accurately.

This permanent part-time role averages 6–8 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. Work is scheduled at assigned stores on designated days, including holiday weeks, and involves continuous physical activity. The position offers independence and some flexibility in working hours.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
