About The Position

This permanent part-time role involves visiting assigned local retail stores each week to collect in-store product data. Associates scan barcodes on products throughout the store, including displays, aisle locations, and end caps, and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned. Data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates use a downloadable app on a mobile phone and complete weekly Display Scanning, which may take several hours per store. Clients also request Custom Projects, which occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must meet store reporting deadlines and complete assigned work consistently throughout the year, including holiday weeks.

The position averages 6–10 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. Scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. The role offers some flexibility and independence, alongside continuous physical activity throughout the workday. The listed route includes grocery, convenience, and mass retail locations in the Harahan, Westwego, Harvey, and Kenner, Louisiana areas, with available workdays varying by store.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach six feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
