About The Position

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to collect in-store data at assigned local retailers each week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Associates visit designated stores, use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations throughout the store, including aisle end caps, and report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates complete weekly Display Scanning across the entire store, which can take several hours, and may also complete Custom Projects requested by clients. These projects occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store. Associates must meet store deadlines and complete work reliably and accurately. The route includes stores in Circleville and Lancaster, Ohio. Base hours average 5–10 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional special-project hours are frequently assigned throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. Full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

The role offers workplace independence and some flexibility in working hours. It involves continuous physical activity during work shifts, including prolonged standing and reaching for products throughout stores.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
