Hallmark•Circleville, OH
•Onsite

About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organization and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. The role collaborates with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support coworkers with seasonal resets and installations. Merchandisers may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores they service. The work includes day-to-day service in Hallmark departments at grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores. Using a Hallmark-provided mobile device, the merchandiser restocks, organizes, and monitors Hallmark products, communicates with a supervisor, reports time, provides feedback, and completes surveys for merchandising activities. The merchandiser is responsible for the Hallmark product display at assigned stores and interacts professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers. Seasonal demand brings additional days and extended hours before and after major holidays. Work on the holiday itself may be required for occasions such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. The role may also involve team assignments to build and install fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. Merchandisers may support other team members in their territories as needed. This is a part-time position averaging 10–12 hours per week, with a variable schedule during the work week. The work is physically demanding and takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.
