About The Position

As a Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to represent Hallmark, maintain and restock product displays, monitor inventory, and build relationships with store teams. The role involves using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication, time reporting, feedback, and surveys. You may also support seasonal resets, installations, and other team members in their territories.

The position averages 10–12 hours per week, with a variable schedule during the work week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around major holidays and seasonal changeovers. Work may occasionally include evenings, weekends, or the holiday itself. The job is performed on selling floors and in back stockrooms, and requires frequent physical activity and handling merchandise and fixtures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available during the week before and after major holidays, potentially including weekends.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory in and outside assigned Hallmark departments.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a mobile device to complete merchandising activities, communicate with a supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer required surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal holiday merchandising, including additional days and extended hours when needed.
• Assist with installations, building or installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers and team members in their territories as needed.
• Travel between assigned stores according to schedule.
