About The Position

As a Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to organize, restock, and monitor Hallmark products, optimize product placement, and maintain inventory. You serve as the face of Hallmark and build professional relationships with store teams, management, and customers. The role includes using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily merchandising work, communication, time reporting, feedback, and surveys. You may also occasionally work with other companies’ products in stores you service. The position averages 10–12 hours per week, with a variable schedule during the work week. Work may increase around holidays and seasonal changeovers, including extended hours and additional days. Holiday work may include weekends and, on some occasions, the holiday itself. Resets and installations may involve building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections; remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. Merchandisers may also support other team members in their territories. The job is physically demanding and involves work on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It requires regularly pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying merchandise and fixtures, as well as kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing. Stair and step-ladder climbing may be required. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training includes live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees may have access to voluntary benefits; eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
